Novena for the Feast of Mercy

Make a novena for the Holy Father’s intention. It should consist of thirty-three acts; that is, repetition that many times of the short prayer — which I have taught you — to The Divine Mercy (Diary, 341).

“O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a Fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You” (Diary, 309).

My Prayer Response:
Lord Jesus, our country, too, needs sustained prayer for mercy. Our homeland has become secularized and materialistic. It no longer pays attention to Your moral law, nor does it seek to know You and trust in You. Lord, have mercy on our nation.
